Luke Smith, everyone's favourite content creator, is wrongly convicted for spreading "hate" on YouTube after writing "IQ" and "Molyneux" as tags for one of his videos. As such, he was sent to life in SoyDev Prison, a bleak place where the warden, Bill Gates, forces inmates to test the latest version of Windows, not to identify bugs (those can be found in their plates for lunch) but to test how well AI can extract information through computer usage.

Kenny (Mental Outlaw), another favourite content creator, is in prison after one of his videos inadvertently featured a YouTube Downloader program in the Linux Mint Flatpack manager. Luke keeps to himself, praying to Jesus and reading the Bible. Eventually, he asks Kenny for a stick and three blocks of cobblestone, creating a pickaxe. During a checkup, Bill discovers his book, "How to Prevent the Next Pandemic", being read by Luke.

Bill: I'm pleased to see you reading this. Any favorite phrases of mine?

Luke: "By cutting off trade and tourism, they can crater a country's economy so badly that the cure becomes worse than the disease."

Bill: Exactly. Immigration and globalised trade must continue, no matter what.

The guards and Bill also discovered the pickaxe, but they allowed this as they saw it as an amusing reference to Minecraft, a Microsoft-owned game. Bill scrutinized the Richard Stallman poster Luke had hanged up, but believing Luke will fall in line eventually, allowed the poster to remain. Bill also mentioned agreeing with some of Stallman's views, but didn't expand further.

One day, the inmates were resting after having finished Gangnam Style dancing for TikTok, portraying their bug and grass diet as having provided protein to bust some dance moves. Luke, exhausted and deprived of nutritious intake, seemingly began to hallucinate the prison guards as having brocoli on their heads, not believing his eyes he creeped closer realising these were Zoomer prison guards, overhearing their complaints about the slow speed of their laptops and preference for smart phones apps, Luke introduced himself and invited the guards to hand over their laptops to install "Windows 12". After throwing computer jargon at them, the guards were convinced and handed over their laptops to him. With this, Luke installed a Linux distro with the KDE desktop environment.

The guards, pleased with the lack of Windows bloat allowing them to play Fortnite at both higher graphical settings and with more frames per second (despite no native Linux support, having to use WINE instead), provided Luke with their spare empty USB flash drives, stating they prefer using cloud storage instead. The guards, however, were not aware of the remote root access Luke implemented on their laptops, allowing him to access the prison's cloud servers and secretly funnel out evidence of Bill's master plan and other confidential information.

Luke, presenting himself with a change of heart and now sympathetic to corporate interests, communicated with Bill on how the latter can use software developed under permissive licences such as BSD and MIT licences to his advantage.

Luke: These cucks will develop software for you to take for yourself, Mr Gates! You won't have to give them any real credit, just keep the NOTICE.txt file bearing their name within that no normie- uh normal person is going to look at, and they can't sue you if you fork their software, make it proprietary, and earn money! You won't have to hire a dozen Indians for $2 an hour to build the software for you!

Bill ordered Luke to create a library where inmates, under an illusion of choice, would begin to create software released under a permissive licence, allowing Bill and his friends at Intel, AMD and Nvidia, etc, to steal the code for themselves.

The grim prison library, filled with degenerate woke books, was transformed by Luke and his friends into the SoyDev Free Software Centre. Luke and Kenny begins teaching the inmates of the suckless philosophy, free open source software and the copyleft licences such as GPL, not the cuck licenses that was seemingly agreed on. Furthermore, other topics taught, such as how to build your own website and email server, guides on Linux, and copies of the Industrial Society and Its Future, were also present. Prisoners, therefore, rebelled against having to use Windows, demanding to use Linux (Arch, btw) and free open source software.

Bill determined he had allowed Luke to go too far above his personal risk tolerance and ordered his guards to hang Luke in his cell, framing it as a suicide. The guards, having been banned from Fortnite servers after the anti-cheat software identified their use of WINE on Linux as cheating, were eager to follow Bill's order to "unalive" Luke.

Upon visiting his cell in the middle of the stormy night with a rope in hand, they were shocked to find Luke had vanished. Bill, in a fit of rage, threw spare USB flash drives across the cell. One of the USB flash drives penetrated through Luke's Richard Stallman poster. Bill investigated and discovered Luke had tunnelled through the wall using the pickaxe, the poster having concealed the tunnel.

Luke, having finally tunneled his way out of the prison, emerged free and basked in the rain, carrying the original .docx files (yuck!) revealing Bill' plans to feed us all bugs, inject poison into our bloodstreams, as well as other incriminating information such as Microsoft's anti-competition practices and shady dealings with Nvidia to ensure lack of compatibility on free open source Unix-based operating systems, on a USB flash drive.

Luke leaks the information to r/linux and r/privacy. As a result, Redditors argued, upvoted and downvoted one another, and spoke of revolutions. Bill, seeing all of this, cancelled his planned AMA post and signed out of Reddit. The Redditors proceeded to post threads about "payback" and "vengeance", but ultimately did nothing. Journalists barely covered the news, instead focusing on irrelevant news such as what random celebrity did or how a factory in a third world country collapsed killing 3 people.

Kenny eventually gets paroled. Upon returning to his Based Farm and digging up a concealed ThinkPad, he receives a message on XMPP, the message simply says:

"Join me.
IP: 75.125.23.13
Port: 25565"

The final scene shows Kenny sitting at his ThinkPad at his Based Farm, logging into Luke's survival MineTest server (open source Minecraft clone). He spawns in a blocky world, and in the distance, he sees Luke doing the crotch gesture repeatedly while punching the air at him.
