Physical computing
I have a ThinkPad E545, it has an A8-4500M APU and being that no AMD PSP is included, I don’t need to install an open source bios to deactivate any backdoors (AMD PSP is, from what I know, far better than the Intel Mangement Engine, anyway).

I have a HP Desktop Computer with a 4th generation Intel Core i5 and a 4GB GTX 745 GPU.

Operating system and Desktop Environment.
I've been using Linux since 2013, and Linux Mint since 2015. I've tried Arch, but it's not for me. Linux Mint (with Cinnamon Desktop enviroment) is sufficent for me. I use a Windows 7 virtual machine on my HP desktop computer to run some very old applications, such as the official software for my 2 decades old scanner to scan letters, as third party/open source application aren't compatible with it.

Video Editing

I use Sony Vegas Pro 11 via WINE.'

Browser

I use Tor most of the time, and Brave when neccesary. History is deleted automatically when exiting from Tor. I use Brave's private mode because the history feature is useless to me, it's broken most of the time thanks to dynamic websites.

As for bookmarks, I keep them in a password protected odt file. I find this to be far better than using the browser’s bookmarks, as I can also store logins and information about my servers such as the IP address.

Internet connection
I use Wi-Fi on my ThinkPad, and ethernet cable on my desktop computer. I do believe we should be more open to studying the negative effects of Wi-Fi, I think what we might find could lead to a collapse of the globalised economy.

Piracy
I pirate software even if I own a genuine copy, that way I avoid DRM and launchers (bloat).

Internet usage

How I do not use the internet
I avoid social media, real-time chats, group chats. I also prefer to use privacy-respecting front-ends such as Invidious (for YouTube), albeit I prefer to download videos I like as opposed to relying on the internet.
